STEEL PANTHER Signs With UNIVERSAL/REPUBLIC

May 26, 2008

The '80s metal/hard rock tribute band STEEL PANTHER (formerly known as METAL SKOOL) has reportedly inked a recording deal with Universal/Republic. "Soon you will be able to buy a record from your favorite band STEEL PANTHER with timeless classics like 'Asian Hooker', 'Stripper Girl' and a bunch of shit you haven't heard yet, and the record company will get all the money!" the band said in a statement. "But we ARE going to be totally famous! So suck our dicks now while we are still a bunch of nobodies. And thanks for all your support. We couldn't have done it without our fans."

STEEL PANTHER's lineup includes guitarist "Satchel" (real name Russ Parrish; ex-FIGHT) and singer "Michael Star" (real name Ralph Saenz; ex-L.A. GUNS).
